PowerBook G4 (Late 2002) / Laptop / Acquired 11 Sep 2021
A PowerBook G4 I picked up at VCFMW 16. I was already looking around for TiBooks online around this time, and it was at a good price, so I went for it.
It's one of the last (and fastest) Macs to run Mac OS 9 natively, so I use it for the more high-end software that my G3s can't run. I also have OS X 10.4 installed in a dual-boot configuration, which I use to test the PPC port of Endless Attack REMIX. It didn't come with an AirPort card installed, but my PCMCIA WiFi card works fine under OS X.
It's not in the greatest shape, but I'm sure with a bit of repair work I could get it looking much better. Unfortunately it's a bit daunting to disassemble.
- CPU: PowerPC 7455, 1GHz
- GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon 9000

- OS: Mac OS 9.2.2 + Mac OS X 10.4
